Michael Esordi's experience is in consumer-targeted design including product graphics, package design, web design and development, and multimedia presentations. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, his career began as a freelance designer before accepting an art director position for Troxel Cycling and Fitness. He was also creative director for an internet design group for three years servicing clients such as Southern California Edison, Prime Sports (now owned by Fox Sports), and NASA, among others.

Renee Esordi's experience is in information design, corporate communications, photography, and computer illustration. A graduate of NCSU School of Design, her career began in Washington DC as a graphic designer at KPMG and PBS designing print collateral. She relocated to San Diego where she worked for an internet marketing firm designing web sites for clients in the movie industry, healthcare, and academics. She is also a professional photographer. Her design and photography has been featured in CNN.com, the LA Times, Shutterbug, Alternative Medicine, Web Style Guide (Yale Univ. Press), Hypergraphics (Rotovision), and various AKC publications.

Together they founded Duotribe in 1997.
